You might disagree with some of the ratings given and that is totally fine. My advice is always to pick the class you like to play, instead of picking the class that might theoretically be the best class.

Warrior

  • The Warrior can be played by all the races in WoW Classic.
  • They can wear up to plate and their three specs are Arms (dps), Fury (dps) and Protection (tank).
  • All their specs are difficult for Leveling, because they are always in the middle of battle with a higher chance to die.
  • For raiding they are excellent tank in their Protection specs and good dps in their Fury spec.
  • For Battlegrounds both their dps specs (Arms and Fury) are good.
  • For World PvP the dps specs are neutral (can be good or bad) and the Protecion spec is not that great.
  • All the specs are excellent for Dungeons.

Shaman

  • The Shaman can only be played by the Horde races Orcs, Tauren and Trolls.
  • They can wear up to mail and their three specs are Elemental (dps), Enhancement (dps) and Restoration (healer).
  • The Enhancement spec is easiest for Leveling.
  • Both dps specs (Elemental and Enhancement) are bad for raiding, but the Restoration spec is good.
  • For Battlegrounds their Elemental spec is the best.
  • For World PvP all the specs are neutral.
  • For Dungeons their Restoration spec is good, the other two dps specs are neutral.

Priest

  • The Priest can be played by Trolls, Undead, Dwarves, Humans and Night Elves.
  • They can wear cloth and their three specs are Discipline (healer), Holy (healer) and Shadow (dps).
  • All the specs are neutral for Leveling.
  • The Holy spec is excellent for raiding, while the Shadow spec is not so great for raiding.
  • For Battlegrounds their Discipline and Shadow spec are good.
  • For World PvP their Shadow spec is good and the other two specs are neutral.
  • For Dungeons their Holy spec is good and the other two specs are neutral.

Paladin

  • The Paladin can only be played by the Alliance races Dwarves and Humans.
  • They can wear up to plate and their three specs are Holy (healer), Protection (tank) and Retribution (dps).
  • All the sepcs are not so good for leveling. But if you have to choose, go for Retribution.
  • The Holy spec is excellent for raiding, while Protection and Retribution are not so great.
  • For Battlegrounds their Holy spec is excellent and the Protection spec is not so great.
  • This is exactly the same for World PvP.
  • For Dungeons the Protection spec is more viable than in other areas, and of course the Holy spec also stands its ground here.

Hunter

  • The Hunter can be played by Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Dwarves and Night Elves.
  • They can wear up to mail and their three specs are Beast Mastery (dps), Marksmanship (dps) and Survival (dps).
  • Beast Mastery and Marksmanship are good for leveling.
  • Marksmanship is very good for raiding, but Survival is not that great.
  • For Battlegrounds both Beast Mastery and Marksmanship will be a good choice.
  • This is exactly the same for World PvP.
  • For Dungeons it is best to go for Beast Mastery and Marksmanship again. Survival is not that good.

Rogue

  • The Rogue can be played by Orcs, Trolls, Undead, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans and Night Elves.
  • They can wear up to leather and their three specs are Assassination (dps), Combat (dps) and Subtlety (dps).
  • All the specs are neutral when it comes to leveling.
  • For raiding Assassination and Combat are good.
  • In Battlegrounds you want to pick either Assassination or Subtlety for your best spec.
  • This is the same for World PvP.
  • For Dungeons it is best to go for Assassination and Combat.

Druid

  • The Druid can be played by Tauren and Night Elves.
  • They can wear up to leather and their three specs are Balance (dps), Feral (dps/tank) and Restoration (healer).
  • For leveling it is best to go Feral.
  • In raiding it is best to go Restoration spec, while the Balance spec is not so great for raiding.
  • For Battlegrounds all the specs are pretty good.
  • If you want to World PvP, then Feral and Restoration are recommended.
  • For dungeons Restoration and Feral (tank) are the best specs.

Warlock

  • The Warlock can be played by Orcs, Undead, Gnomes and Humans.
  • They can wear cloth and their specs are Affliction, Demonology and Destruction.
  • For leveling it is recommended to go either Affliction or Destruction, with Affliction as a clear winner.
  • For raiding the Destruction spec is best, while Demonology is not that good.
  • In Battlegrounds you can best go Afflication or Demonology, while Destruction is very close to that.
  • The same goes for World PvP.
  • In dungeons it is best to go either Affliction or Destruction.

Mage

  • The Mage can be played by Trolls, Undead, Gnomes and Humans.
  • They can wear cloth and their specs are Arcane, Fire and Frost.
  • For leveling it is recommended to go either Arcane or Frost.
  • For raiding all of the specs are viable, but Frost is the most commonly used.
  • In Battlegrounds it is best to go either Fire or Frost.
  • The same goes for World PvP.
  • In dungeons all the specs are viable.

This concludes all class infographics for WoW Classic. I hope it will help you chose which class you want to make when the game launches.
